Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Development: Responsible for all Warehouse activity & various management, organization and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse’s storage and shipment processes.
Standard Operating and Task Management
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
*Lead the team by setting productivity goals, placing inventory orders, setting up logical organization systems and creating communication systems within the warehouse.
*Follow up direct shipments and resolve logistical challenges by communicating with clients, transportation providers, manufacturers and suppliers.
*Determine standards for quality control and inspect inventory and packaging before sending orders to the next location. *Strategize about inventory volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity, rearranging containers for improved efficiency while allowing Warehouse Workers to easily navigate between aisles.
*Co-Ordinate with the supply chain team to dispatch products shipment according to the timeline.
*Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
*Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations; setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
*Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
*Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
*Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security. *Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system Prepare annual budget. Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies & Plan work rotes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
*Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc).
*Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
People management:
*Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
*Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
*Find cost-effective solutions for warehouse & supply chain processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 6-8 years job experience in a related field.
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
