Software Engineer

Job Description:
As a Software Engineer (Laravel) at PLA, you will be one of the key players in system designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework. Your technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and passion for innovation will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects and contributing to the company's overall growth.

Responsibilities:
- Drive the design and development of complex web applications using Laravel and related technologies, ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the team.
- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions, considering performance, security, and usability aspects.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain high code quality and promote continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Laravel and related technologies, advocating for their adoption when appropriate.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, troubleshooting and providing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.

Requirements:
- Proven track record with 2+ years of experience as a Laravel developer.
- Expert-level proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, OOP and related web technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers effectively.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
-Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like CI or WordPress is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
