Responsibility:
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives to drive cost-efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and agreements to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Develop demand planning processes to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and delay
Develop and maintain contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
Generate regular supply chain performance reports for senior management and also provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
To oversee and work towards improvement of suppliers' performance.
To ensure operations' staff use high quality communications with all vendors, suppliers and contractors.
Proactively lead and empower the supply chain team members to encourage operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
To Identify market behavior, threats & opportunities, competitors' strategy and customer trends to review Supply Chain strategy.
Review and recommend effective SOPs, policies, and practices applicable for an efficient Supply Chain Management Department,
Maintain necessary liaison with all relevant departments and remain up-to-date of future needs.
Prepare monthly / quarterly / yearly or other periodical procurement plans and ensure smooth operations.
Increase the intensity of good relationships with vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders and grow jointly under defined corporate agreements.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in order to create a panel of respectable suppliers for the future.
Identify scopes for cost effective supply chain management and keep efficiency records / reports for management review.
Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers, meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, negotiate prices and terms.
Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse logistics.
