Job Title: Area Manager, Customer Development
Report: Report to Regional Sales Manager
Working Conditions- travel, field/ home based, shift schedules, employment type (full time vs part time): Full Time role, 60% travel required
Job Summary: Build a high performing sales & distribution team to lead an omni channel business focused on distribution and in-store excellence to drive profitable growth in the area
Main Responsibilities:
Business Planning & Implementation
Ensuring business viability through ROIs. Owning growth & distribution across channels. Leverage market insights, panel data & external business trends to drive new partnerships & business opportunities
Distribution Excellence
Analyze market share / distribution trends. Co-relate with sales performance by brand and productivity. Analyze SKU wise sales volume
Instore Excellence
Provide knowledge of point of Sale – Learn shopper behavior pertaining to point of sale initiatives and provide inputs to the Customer Marketing Team .Ensure implementation of the Instore deployment plan –
Build strong relations across channels & REs
Flex relationship & negotiation styles as per stakeholder - stockist/DT/ecom/New Retail.Understand the current local market and competition dynamics from Territory Managers and Stockist Salesman team
Focused on planning, development, leading people and innovation
People Manager - custodian of salary planning, recruitment, PM&D, talent planning along with the HR Business Partner. Ensuring all the TSE’s are trained (on the job & classroom) on their key competencies & deliverables
Focused on tech enablement and capability
Improve penetration & utilization of CD tech transformations
Education and experience requirement:
*BBA/ MBA profile: MBA with 05 years of experience in FMCG/ non FMCG sector working at a similar role
* Non BBA/ MBA profile: 5-6 years of experience working as an Area Manager in FMCG
6/7 years exp working in non FMCG
